·               Anticipated and resolved problems, bottlenecks / scheduling conflicts across 31 major contracts on over $1.8 billion work-scope for the Royal Commissions Jubail and Ras Al-Khair Industrial Cities. Ensured engineering and construction remained on schedule. Site prep, roads, utilities, electrical substations, pumping stations, telecom network, labor camp, building projects.  Reviewed Contractor submittals, managed interface schedules, prepared project controls portion of the bid document, budget tracking, and manpower coordination.

·               Supervised seven engineers.  Coaching, wrote performance reviews, timesheets, contractor invoices.  Ran meetings, gave presentations, time impact analysis.  Guided the project planning team to develop / review project schedules (level 1-4).  Supervised the progress measurement system such as manpower histograms and progress S curves.  Anticipated and resolved any problems, bottlenecks / scheduling conflicts.

Senior Planning and Cost Engineer

·               Multi-billion dollar new infrastructure projects to support construction of Shell's Upstream Marcellus Shale Gas Asset.  Developed CPM execution schedules and basis of schedule for Pipelines, Well Pads, Compressor Stations, Water Tanks / Impoundments, and Drilling / Hydraulic Fracturing activities. 

·               Lead the Weekly Planners Meeting.  Focal point for the development of the Functional Activity Resource Loaded EPS Project Schedule in support of the Integrated Activity Plan (IAP): activities, logic, resources and progress. Primavera.

·               Worked with Contractors to improve the quality of their schedules.  Wrote contractor schedule guidelines: coding, progress, change management. 

·               Ensured timely issuance of Shells Client Schedule and Reports; progress updates, forecast, critical path and trend analysis.  Primavera P6 R8.2, Prism.

·               Cost Control System: budgeting, earned value, change management, accruals, SAP.

·               Execution through the integrated master schedule via the Rolling Wave Eight Week (T8) Lock-in Schedule.  140 million, 16 PM’s, and 300 field personnel. Primavera, Passport CMMS.

·               Develop project work plans including developing engineering, construction, and maintenance schedules

·               Project costs: budgeting, EVMS, monthly accruals, change management, ORACLE Financials.

·               Budgeting, earned value, change orders, commitments, expenditures, CAPEX MAEX forecasts, and accruals on 15 to 20 small-cap process and power projects ranging in value from $100K - $10MM. Analyzed trends, prepared project financial closure documentation.  SAP, Primavera.

Master Scheduler, (Maintenance Planner) Turnaround Group, 2003-2006             

·               Lead 8 to 14 planner schedulers on the execution and implementation of scheduling processes, practices, and tools on 4 major T/A’s and over 30 smaller TARs. WBS, OBS, calendars, resources, roles, coding schemes. Provided P6 admin and training.  SAP Maintenance Module.  Defined methodologies and processes to improve T/A performance.

·               Solved problems on multi-unit major TAR's: $100-150 million, 500k-700k actual hours, 1400-2000 people, 10 to 25 contractors/subcontractors.  Extensive reporting and writing for the TAR Team: Narratives, Monthly Accomplishments, Meeting Notes, AFE's, Five Year Budget, Basis of Schedules.
